Deposit Management feature can be used for Booking.com and direct booking website reservations.
When setting up Security Deposit Management, you select the number of days prior to check-in to authorize the charge.
If a reservation is made after the authorization date set, the deposit management rule will not be applied and you must collect the deposit manually through Stripe. For example:
- Authorization date is 3 days before check-in
- A reservation is made 2 day before check-in
The deposit management rule will not be applied to this reservation. You must collect the deposit manually through Stripe. You can create a payment request link in your Stripe account to share with the guest.
