Switching from Guesty for Hosts to Guesty Lite

As part of our ongoing effort to provide every customer with the best possible tools and support, Guesty will no longer provide support for Guesty for Hosts as of January 15, 2026.

To make sure all users continue to have access to the most reliable experience and new features, we’re introducing Guesty Lite and Guesty Pro, platforms built to help hosts and property managers manage their businesses with more power, stability, and ease.

Before you begin

If your current integration involves the Vrbo Upgraded Connection, it's important to understand that upon transitioning to Guesty Lite, the Vrbo integration will mirror the features of the Vrbo Standard Connection. See a detailed comparison between the connection types.

What to expect during setup

A dedicated product expert onboarder will guide you through the entire transition, from the initial review to final setup, ensuring your account is fully configured and ready before you begin using it. Your onboarder will:

  • Review your current Guesty for Hosts setup and determine whether Guesty Lite or Guesty Pro is the best fit
  • Help you log in to your new account and select your plan
  • Reconnect your channels like Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo
  • Recreate your automations, message templates, and pricing settings
  • Provide a walkthrough of your new dashboard and features

Most users complete setup for Guesty Lite within a few days, and for Guesty Pro within about three weeks, depending on the size of the portfolio and specific configurations.

Channels, reservations, and data

Your data remains safe and accessible throughout this process.

  • Airbnb: All future and recent past bookings (up to 360 days) import automatically once connected
  • Booking.com: All upcoming bookings import automatically; past reservations can be uploaded if needed
  • Vrbo: Confirmed upcoming bookings appear automatically after connection
  • Other sources: Export data from GFH before setup if desired

Once your new account is connected, your listings, reservations, and communications will continue to function as normal.

Add-ons and integrations

Guesty Lite and Guesty Pro both include access to the Guesty Marketplace and built-in tools to help you manage your business more efficiently. Your Guesty onboarder will assist you with:

  • Reconnecting your smart locks, pricing tools, and integrations
  • Setting up features such as Guesty PriceOptimizer and Damage Protection
  • Reviewing new options available in your selected plan

Getting ready

To make your setup is quick and easy, we recommend:

  • Exporting any data or reports you’d like to keep from Guesty for Hosts.
  • Having your channel logins ready for reconnection.
  • Listing any automations or templates you’d like to recreate.

Your Guesty specialist will take care of the rest and ensure everything is properly configured.
