Why Was My Cleaning Fee Not Applied?

Guesty for Host fees are only synced with Airbnb and Vrbo upgraded connection, including the cleaning fee.

For Vrbo standard connection and Booking.com, the cleaning fee should be added directly on the channel.

There are three possible reasons why there is no cleaning fee for a Booking.com or Vrbo standard connection reservation:

  1. There was no cleaning fee set on the channel.
  2. There is a cleaning fee. However, Vrbo or Booking.com did not charge it.
  3. There is a cleaning fee, and Vrbo or Booking.com charged it. However, the channel did not sync the cleaning fee to Guesty For Hosts.

To ensure that your guests are charged the cleaning fee, please check your fees on the channel and set it up if necessary. If you need further assistance, please contact us with the reservation ID.
