If you are using Stripe to collect payments for Vrbo reservations automatically in Guesty For Hosts, note the following:
- 100% of payment will be collected at the time of reservation confirmation.
- You will receive an email from GFH for each payment made.
- You can view payment details from the Reservation Details page as well as through your Stripe account.
Follow the instructions below to connect your Stripe account.
Note:
Your Vrbo connection runs on Guesty's most upgraded platform, which will require you to connect your Stripe account to a specific Guesty account.
If your Booking.com account and direct booking website are already connected to Stripe in Guesty For Hosts, no changes are needed. They should remain connected to the existing Stripe account.
Connect Your Vrbo Account to a Stripe Account
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty For Hosts account.
- In the top menu, click Menu.
- Under "Channel manager", click Vrbo.
- For the relevant account under "Payment Processor", you will see the status "Missing". Click Add.
- In the pop-up, under "Stripe Account", click Connect New Stripe Account.
- Follow the prompts to complete the process.
- At the bottom right, click Save.
Tip:
If you are using multiple Stripe accounts, these can be viewed and managed by clicking Stripe Accounts at the top right of your Vrbo account management page.
Switch Your Vrbo Account to Another Stripe Account
- Sign in to your Guesty For Hosts account.
- In the top menu, click Menu.
- Under "Channel manager", click Vrbo.
- For the relevant account, at the top right click Settings.
- In the pop-up, under "Stripe Account", click the dropdown and select another Stripe account.
- At the bottom right, click Save.
