Reservations made after completing the Vrbo upgraded connection can be cancelled in Guesty For Hosts and synced with Vrbo. Keep in mind that refunds are not processed automatically and must be completed directly in Stripe. Follow the steps below.

Reservations made prior to the Vrbo upgraded connection must be cancelled directly in Vrbo. See details below.
Step by step:
- Sign in to Guesty For Hosts.
- Click Calendar.
- In the calendar, click on the relevant reservation.
- In the Reservation Details page, scroll to the bottom.
- Click Cancel Reservation.
- In the pop-up, select who is cancelling: guest or host.
- Click Yes, cancel it.
- If a refund is due, process the transaction in your Stripe account. See Stripe instructions here.
You can distinguish reservations made before or after the upgraded connection by the button displayed at the bottom of the Reservation Detail page.
- Reservation made after upgraded connection will display the "Cancel Reservation" button to cancel in Guesty For Hosts.
- Reservation made before upgraded connection will display the "Delete Reservation" button which is not synced to Vrbo. The reservation needs to be cancelled directly in Vrbo.
Tip:
To view cancelled reservations, navigate to Menu > Reservations and search by reservation code or guest name. You can also use the search box on the mobile app to pull up a cancelled reservation.
