With Guesty Damage Protection you will be able to receive compensation for damages caused by guests during their stay without confronting them. You can cover the added billing cost for Damage Protection by adding it as an additional fee to the channel.
Fees for Airbnb, Vrbo upgraded connection, and direct bookings are managed in Guesty For Hosts. For other connections, including Vrbo standard connection, the extra fee must be added on the channel directly.

If the Damage Protection is set to include confirmed future reservations, you can try to retrieve the funds from the guests of those reservations by adding an additional fee manually through your Stripe account.
