How Availability Is Displayed in the Calendar

Note:

If you are using a smart pricing tool, check your availability settings as they may override changes you make in Guesty For Hosts.

The Guesty For Hosts calendar reflects your listing's Airbnb availability settings Advance Notice and Availability Window, as well as manual changes made in the calendar with the following exceptions:

  • If you open up days outside the availability window, your channel calendars will present these dates as available, while the Guesty For Hosts calendar remains blocked based on the listing settings.
  • If you open up days within the advance notice time, your channel calendars will present these dates as available, while the Guesty For Hosts calendar remains blocked based on the listing settings.

  • Same day advance notice is not reflected in the Guesty For Hosts calendar. Learn more about this setting on each connected channel here.
  • Channel-specific adjustments to availability and minimum nights will be applied and pushed to the specific channel.

Tip:

Make sure your Availability Window is not set to "Dates unavailable by default".

Availability Window Example

Your listing's availability window is set to 6 months. In the calendar, all dates beyond 6 months are blocked.

#1: In the calendar, you select days outside the availability window to make available for all channels. Your channel calendars will present these dates as available, while the Guesty For Hosts calendar remains blocked based on the listing settings.

  • If you want to adjust the general availability in the calendar, for example, allowing bookings 7 months out, simply change the listing's availability window setting.

#2: In the calendar, you select days within the 6 month availability window to block for all channels. The blocked dates will be reflected in the Guesty For Hosts calendar.

Advance Notice Example

#1: In the calendar, you select days within the advance notice time to make available for all channels. Your channel calendars will present these dates as available, while the Guesty For Hosts calendar remains blocked based on the listing settings.

  • If you want to adjust the general availability in the calendar, for example, allowing bookings within 1 day of check-in, simply change the listing's advance notice setting.

#2: In the calendar, you select blocked days outside of the advance notice time to make available for all channels. The available dates will be reflected in the Guesty For Hosts calendar.
