Use Guesty Damage Protection to make sure you receive compensation for damages caused by guests during their stay without having to confront them. Please note the following:
- Coverage is currently offered for listings in US and Mexico only. All listings in these geo-areas are automatically included.
- Any future listings in these geo-areas added to your account will be automatically included.
- You have the option to exclude specific listings. However, if you choose to exclude a listing at the time of setup, it cannot be edited later. If you want to cover an excluded listing at a later date, you must contact Customer Solutions.
- Damage Protection will be applied to and billed for all eligible listings and reservations that are under 21 days.
- Damage Protection will be applied to and billed for all eligible listings and reservations made through all channels.
- Certain channels or certain reservations cannot be excluded from Damage Protection.
- You will be charged per reservation. The cost per reservation depends on the coverage plan selected, and is displayed at the beginning of the setup process.
- You can cover the additional cost of Damage Protection through a reservation fee. See here for more details.
