Is a Message Sent For Last Minute Bookings?

If a message Is scheduled X days before check-in, what happens with reservations made within X days?
For automated message rules triggered by check-in, messages are sent at "X days or less" by default. 
  • For example:
    • An automation rule is created for a message to be sent 7 days before check-in. 
      • For a booking made 10 days in advance, the message will be sent 7 days before check-in.
      • For a booking made 4 days in advance, the message will be sent upon confirmation.
  • This setting is controlled under a scheduled message's Advanced Settings
    • If you would like to keep sending messages at "X days or less" before check-in, no action is required.
    • If you would like to send the message at "X days exactly", follow the steps here to exclude last minute reservations under Advanced Settings.
