Invoices are automatically generated for invoice model income reports. Follow the steps below to edit the billing client, include additional item fees, send the invoice, and request online payment.
Preview an Invoice
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty For Hosts account.
- At the top, click Menu.
- Click Income Reports.
- Click View Income Reports.
- On an invoice model income report, click View.
- Scroll to the bottom, click Preview Invoice.
Edit an Invoice
Once you've accessed an invoice following the steps above, you have the following options to edit:
- Select a different client for billing: under "Bill to" click Change Client.
- Add an extra item:
- In the "Extra item" text box, start typing the extra item/fee name.
- In the "Amount" text box, use the arrows to set the amount to charge.
- Click Add Extra Item.
- Delete an extra item: To the right of an existing extra item, click the garbage icon.
- Edit notes: Auto-generated text includes a summary of the invoice calculations and dates. Click in the "Notes" text box to edit.
Click Save after making any edits.
Send an Invoice
Once your invoice is saved, choose one of the following options:
- Generate a PDF of the invoice to send to your client.
- Send a payment request via Stripe to collect online payment.
Generate an Invoice
- Click Generate Invoice PDF.
- Select one of the following options:
- Copy Link
- A link to the invoice will be automatically copied to your clipboard to share.
- View
- The invoice will open in a new window for you to download, save, and share.
- Copy Link
Send Payment Request via Stripe
- Click Send Payment Request via Stripe.
- Select the Stripe account or add a new account.
- Click Send payment request via Stripe.
